San Francisco in the Morning

Taken at 6am from Treasure Island. Got up early today to get some long exposure photos of San Francisco. I like how the long exposure makes the bay look like it is frozen over. More photos from this photo shoot: #1, #2 and #3.

I like the tension between the foreground and the cityscape, but I do think a little less foreground and a little more sky above the Transamerica building would be an improvement. The effect on the water is neat, but didn't grab my eye immediate. I like the foggy appearance of the water in your other shot... the one with the palm trees. I always like that look/effect. Kudos for waking up that early. Sometimes that isn't easy.
